This boat is a nice little cruiser and is in very good shape for a 31 year-old vessel. We sail it on Lake Casitas and have sailed out of Ventura and Channel Islands Harbors. We have sailed the boat in 4ft-5ft swells and it handles the ocean in the Santa Barbara Channel well, but I recommend avoiding poor weather sailing.
The boat is transported on a single-axle trailer, original MacGregor, to any boat ramp. A six horsepower Evinrude two-stroke outboard is included with the boat. Also included are one mainsail, one Genoa (large headsail overlapping the mainsail), one jib (typical working headsail), and a storm jin (small headsail for string wind conditions), all in good condition.
The cabin cushions are in excellent shape, having been restored by the previous owner with custom fitted cloth covers. Also included is a galley, with a two-burner alcohol stove and a small stainless steel sink.
